Keep them coming!

I am infatuated with the franchise and have been since playing Dragon Warrior NES when I was 5.

Fans of the series and JRPG fans in general definitely need to pick this up. It plays wonderfully in portrait mode so I dont even miss landscape. This also plays a lot smoother than DQ8. (Which is still amazing)

Dragon Quest games are not the easiest RPGs out there so prepare for a bit of grinding and open exploration. Make sure you speak to everyone, pay attention, and save often. But the added quick save feature makes the game just as playable in short bursts. Back in the day if you didnt have enough time to venture out and make it back to the church/king you might as well not even turned it on.
